Porsche  Club Concours

18 June 2010

It is no secret that our family are quite big fans of the German car marque, when you see the race history they have built up over the last half century you might begin to understand why we appreciate these cars so much.

Once a year the Porsche club of Qld has its annual concours event, usually held at southbank of the Brisbane river, this time around it was moved to historic Ormiston house, a beautiful property on the bayside and absolutely superb to showcase the marvellous selection of cars that came along. Chris and myself drove down is two great late model classic's; a 993 Twin Turbo and 993 RS. Both are exceptional cars and quite different types of beasts. You can see them both on Chris's Ecurie Investments website by clicking here.

Here for your viewing pleasure is a bit of a pictorial of the days event, well worth coming along for next year.

Our display of the 993 RS with the 993 TT behind it.

Perhaps the best collection of 911's in Australia, all 9 were driven to the park by their fanatical owner, just fantastic.

The Ex Allan Hamilton/ Moffat 934 beast. One of the most significant and fastest 911's in Australia.

356 Carrera Speedster, one of 3 made in RHD, a superb example.

Numerous well pampered 911's all overlooking Moreton Bay.

My Old 356 Coupe, with Chris in the background showing his excellent parenting skills to it's new owner.

One of my favourite cars of the day, and it was parked outside in the carpark!

The very rare and exotic 959 Porsche supercar, driven to the event by it's very enthusiastic owner.

If there was ever a time you couyld get away with saying you have a huge bum... this is it.

Love your car,
Dan Bowden
