THE CHAMPIONSHIP CHASE- DVD

Perhaps the best DVD from the early 70's, The Championship Chase is a fantastic documentary put together by Shell, of "Stormin" Norm Beechy's and his HT GTS Monaro in the quest to Win the 1970 ATCC title. I will give the story away and let you know that he did in fact win the title, which i am pretty sure Shell were equally happy with, as they had a film crew team follow him to every single race of the season. Not the longest at only 23 minutes, but full colour, well edited with great sound, it is in our opinion the best as it shows all the drivers and cars and incidents of the 1970 championship. Cars/ drivers include; Bob Janes T/A Shelby Mustang, Moffat's T/A Mustang and Super Falcon, "Pete" Geoghegans Mustang, The Porsche 911 ST's of Mckeown, Foley amd Brown and of course the eventual winner, Norm's HT GTS 350 Monaro. This DVD is a must have for any enthusiast of the era.
