The Dick Johnson racing Sierra's are regarded by many as the ultimate Group A Ford, being dominant for many years in Australian Touring Car Championship racing. This new poster beautifully captures two of the best they ever built.
DJR #4 had a great history, winning Dick Johnson the 1989 Championship, before becoming John Bowes #18 car for the following seasons.
DJR #5 is considered by many, including Dick Johnson to be the greatest of all 6 cars they built. Winning Bathurst in 1989 and almost winning in 1992, being the only car in that final year that could match the impressive Nissan GTR Skylines. With 700+ BHP coming from the 2 litre Cosworth, it certainly helped with this!
DJR #4 now runs the #18 Bowe livery and DJR #5 proudly remains how it finished racing, as #17 and unrestored from 1992. Both still weapons grade racers that we show at the odd show and race track event.
Poster size is 600mm x 420mm in size and on very nice 120 gsm art gloss paper.
