Once a year, motoring enthusiasts from all over the country are invited to come and see just what fires the Bowden’s passion ‘to make the best car care products under the Southern Cross’. The Bowden boys host a guided tour of their exclusive Bowden’s Own headquarters - the home of Australia’s greatest private collection of famous racing and sports machinery. Australia’s motor racing history created by the greats - Moffat, Brock, Johnson, Beechey and Geoghegan. Their unmistakable cars are preserved and on display for your viewing pleasure. These courageous motor vehicles are brought alive by the Bowden’s intimate knowledge of each and every car on show - making for an outstanding day you’ll be talking about for years to come!

Having Allan Moffat as the special guest for this day was a good enough to have this fill up in record time. The next Open Day with yet another Australian motoring legend is set for May 9th. Secure your ticket now, as this final day will certianly book out. Read below for all the details.

How Do I Get On The Entry List?

 

The Open Day is strictly by invite only. Free invitations are only available with our two best selling car care kits; the Super Size and Mother Bucket car care kits. Each kit has an invite for one person and their spouse/ partner/ son/ daughter. The invites are a free addition to these great kits. Inside each kit is a registration form, fill this out with a proof of purchase (AutObarn or Bowden's Own receipt) and send it back to us. When we are able to solidly confirm the Open Day date (See dates below), we will contact you with the information and tickets for the day. Every Person who purchases a Super Size or Mother Bucket kit gets a free ticket to attend the Open Day.

Tickets to the Bowden's Own Open Day are usually exclusively available to customers who purchase a Bowden's Own Super Size or Mother Bucket. But it's for a the first time we are offering everyone the ability to attend our Open Day with any Bowden's Own kit purchased.
Auto Body Wash Kit, Ladies Car Spa Kit and Auto Body Kit entitle the receipt holder to purchase one ticket for themselves and one ticket for a direct relative for the cost of only $79.95 per person (Children of the receipt holder under the age of 16 are allowed to come along for free). These tickets have never been available for sale ever before!

Where is it?

We are located on Queenslands Sunshine Coast. The local Maroochydore airport has mutiple daily flights with Virgin, Tiger and Jetstar, to nearly all the capital cities in Australia. We always have the Open Day's on a Sunday, so bring the family and stay on the coast for the weekend. Best place to stay would be the tourist mecca of Mooloolaba beach, the days meeting place is just 15 mins away.

 

When is it?

The first open day was set for January the 17th and totally booked out...  The second for March the 7th booked out. Our third and final day for the year has been set for May 9th and is filling rapidly. When this final day books out we will not be having any furthers days till the following year. We do our best to make sure that everyone who gets a kit will be able to come along and enjoy our  Open Day experiance.
