Whether you simply want a private guided tour of Australia's greatest collection of muscle, racing and touring cars for your car club members, or a corporate function surrounded by some of Australia's motor racing elite for your staff or most appreciated customers, Bowden's Own has a package that suits your needs.

TOUR PACKAGES

Reward your staff, club members, colleagues or friends with something memorable and unique. Experience a very special guided tour of 20 - 50 historic cars within the Bowden collection – Australia’s greatest collection of racing and touring cars.
Located in the Bowden’s Own HQ in Buderim QLD, the Bowden’s Own showroom is not normally open to the public and is only open for special occasions. Make sure your event is one of them.
Hosted by Dan Bowden, the famous stories of these cars come to life through Dan’s intimate knowledge of each and every car on display. It will be a tour everyone will never forget, and one they will tell their friends and families about for years to come.
Tour Details:
·         Hosted by Dan Bowden. Secondary host (for split groups) may be Chris Bowden, depending on availability.
·         Approx 50 cars on display – specific cars can be requested but not guaranteed (Express Tour – approx. 20 cars).
·         Historical stories on each car (detail and length depends on tour type selected).
·         History of Bowden’s Own.
·         Q&A Session.
·         Opportunity to purchase Bowden’s Own products including car care and merchandise (posters, shirts, DVDs etc).
·         Tour Assistants (quantity depends on group size).
·         Minimum charge of 30 people applies to all tours.
·         Groups over 70 people may be split into 2 smaller groups to ensure participant enjoyment. Events of this size are subject to availability of Chris Bowden as a second speaker.
Express Tour – Approx 1 – 1.5hrs
$25 per person up to 40 people
$20 per person over 40 people
·         A tour of just 20 cars in our collection on one level of our shed.
Regular Tour – Approx 2 – 2.5hrs
$35 per person up to 40 people
$30 per person over 40 people
·         Includes one car of your choice (subject to availability) to be started up.
Enthusiast Tour – Approx 2.5 – 3hrs
$45 per person up to 40 people
$40 per person over 40 people (maximum 60 people)
·         Includes up to 3 cars of your choice (subject to availability) to be started up.

Catering

 
If you would like to provide food and drink to your tour attendees, Bowden’s Own offers a range of tour catering options including morning teas and BBQ lunches. For more information and prices, please contact us.
Alternatively, we welcome you to bring your own food and drink. We have BBQ facilities on site that is available free of charge.
Soft drink cans are available at all times - $1.50/can.

CORPORATE FUNCTION PACKAGES
Looking for a venue that offers something absolutely unique?
Surround you and your guests with some of the finest pieces of Australia’s motor racing history – hold your next event in Australia’s greatest classic muscle, racing and touring car collection museum. The theme is already set for you and the celebrities are already here!

Available between the hours of 9am and 11pm.
Dan Bowden and selected Bowden's Own staff members will be available to help socialise and/or host your event.

Catering

 

Bowden’s Own can provide a range of catering options for all budgets upon request, from morning tea’s and simple BBQ’s right through to canapés and sit down dinners. If you require this option please let us know your budget and what you are looking for.
Alternatively, we welcome you to organise your own catering. A minimal cost per person will apply for all self-catering functions.
Soft drink cans are available for purchase at all times - $1.50/can.

AV and Furniture Hire

 

Bowden’s Own welcomes you to bring along any furniture or equipment you have or want to hire to make your event more special. Bowden’s Own has limited furniture and equipment in the showroom, however, if you require us to organise any additional items, please let us know so we can source it for you.

Travel & Accommodation

 

Due to organisational constraints, we suggest you organise your own travel and accommodation for you and your guests.
For interstate visitors, Virgin, Jetstar and Tiger Airways offer multiple daily flights from Sydney and Melbourne to our local airport (Maroochydore). Alternatively, Brisbane airport is only an hour’s drive away. www.webjet.com.au is ideal for finding the cheapest and most convenient flights
If you are looking for a place to stay, we recommend the very popular Mooloolaba Beach. Featuring several hotels, motels or serviced apartments for all budgets, and a range of quality restaurants, shops and attractions. Celebrity Appearances

 

As Bowden’s Own has several contacts within the motor racing industry, for an additional fee, Bowden’s Own can request the attendance of various motor racing celebrities to co-host a tour or function such as Kevin Bartlett, John French and Dick Johnson. Celebrity appearances depend on their availability and relevance. Appearance costs vary based on the cost charged by the selected celebrity and their requirements.
