THE RACING GEOGHEGANS

The Racing Geoghegans was put together in 1969 by Castrol, as a promotional piece on the talented brothers, Leo and Ian "Pete" Geoghegan. It covers the racing careers of them both in their different fields of racing; Leo in the his Gold Star winning open wheeler and Ian in Touring cars, namely the two Mustangs in which he dominated  and won 4 ATCC championships with. Some great foootage throughout the DVD, but a personal highlight was seeing Ian in the 1965 Stang up against Norm Beechey's Chevy Nova, at the now closed Catalina Park Raceway. It features all the drivers and cars of the era, in full colour, narrated and runs for just on 30minutes. A worthy addition to the library of any Australian racing enthusiast.
