Bowden’s Own Car Care Pty Ltd, its subsidiaries and affiliates in Australia (Bowden’s Own) is committed to managing personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and in accordance with other applicable privacy laws.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Bowden's Own uses an SSL secured payment gateway from Stripe and Paypal to ensure that your credit card details are safe. Bowden's Own staff do not see any card details which you directly enter into our site.

Why does Bowden’s Own collect your personal information? 

Bowden’s Own collects personal information reasonably necessary to carry out our business, deliver our products, provide after-sale customer service, advertise and market our products, and provide services such as events. We may use your personal information to improve our products and services and better understand your needs. 

How does Bowden’s Own use and disclose personal information?

Does Bowden’s Own use or disclose your personal information for direct marketing?

Any personal information collected and held by Bowden’s Own may be disclosed to, and held at, a destination outside Australia. Generally speaking this may be because we utilise overseas IT services such as data storage facilities, payment gateways or other IT infrastructure. 

By submitting your personal information to us, you expressly consent to the disclosure, transfer, storing or processing of your personal information outside of Australia. 

By providing your consent, under the Privacy Act 1988, we are not required to take such steps as may be reasonable in the circumstances. However, despite this, we acknowledge the importance of protecting personal information and have taken reasonable steps to ensure that your information is used by third parties securely and in accordance with the terms of this privacy policy.

Can you deal with Bowden’s Own anonymously?

We use traffic log and other cookies on the Bowden’s Own website.
