Freshen up with new Fabra Cadabra!

Humans in general can be pretty messy when it comes to the interior of their cars. Long road trips with children or fur babies can lead to a pretty slimy mess to clean up. Our original Fabra Cadabra was released a number of years ago with this task in mind, and it has served us well over the years.
We've been working behind the scenes for on an all new formula for Fabra Cadabra and we're very happy with what we have come up with. Advancements in technology and chemical science over the past few years has allowed us to put some pretty cool stuff into this latest formula, making it better at cleaning and deodorising, while still being colour safe and critically, safe on Alcantara and Microsuede which is found in a lot of modern vehicles these days.

Deep Cleaning

Fabra Cadabra has a deep cleaning formula, which works by removing the stains and other foreign items from the individual threads of the fabric, whilst not being damaging to them or most importantly, the stitching. We have found it cleans up oil, grease, meat pies, soft drinks, hair gel (don't ask), cattle dog muddy feet marks, kids marker pens (treat them ASAP before they dry), ladies foundation and mascara, chocolate, ice cream, coffee, blood, yellowing (usually from sweat or red bull drink) and a variety of other unidentifiable stains. The most important thing to remember is that you need to clean any stains off ASAP, the longer you leave them, the harder they can become to remove.

Colour Safe and Rejuvenating

Fabra Cadabra has no solvents or cleaners in it, so it is safe for ALL colour-safe fabrics and stitching, new and old. We also added in a pretty cool ingredient that rejuvenates the colour back to your trim whilst your cleaning, something needed with a lot of older cars that have not been cared for that well.

Odour Removal

Our chemist sourced a nice fresh fragrance that helps remove odours in the car while you are cleaning, something we greatly appreciate with some of the musky smells the old cars can get at times after sitting around for a few years. Follow up with our odour eliminator, Pong-Go, for a really effective pong removal system. The fragrance is also gentle and not overpowering, critical when working in an enclosed area like a car.

Alcantara/micro-suede

These types of materials are found in a lot of modern vehicles, and can be a bit of a hassle to care for if you don't use the right products. Fabra Cadabra has been designed specifically in mind for these materials and is also safe on all cloth and fabric including carpets, carmats, canvas and even hood linings.

 

Forgiving formula

The unique active ingredients we have used in the new formula, when used on fabric, will dry to a powder, so you don't get water marks or staining on fabrics if you use too much product or allow it to dry.

Versatile cleaner

Fabra Cadabra can also be used with a combination of our microfibre and brushes for a more thorough clean, or when a bit more cleaning power is required. When using Fabra Cadabra, it's best to work in the shade, in a reasonably well ventilated area to allow for good drying once you're done. Always give the area you're about to clean a good vacuum so you're not pushing anything lying on the surface back into the interior fabric whilst trying to clean it.

For quick wipe overs of fabrics that aren't too badly soiled or stained, or general spot cleaning, our Square Bear applicator pad and separate Plush Daddy interior cloth are perfect for the job. Give the area a quick vacuum, then spray 5-6 sprays of Fabra Cadabra directly into your Square Bear, and wipe gently over the surface. While still wet, use a folded Plush Daddy cloth to remove the released dirt and grime from the fabric. Change this cloth often if it gets dirty.

For those older or harder to remove stains, we like to use the Plush Brush, or the Pouncer from the Foursome brush set to up the cleaning oomph and help lift out a lot more grime. Fabra Cadabra can also be used as a pre-spray when using Orange Agent in a shampoo extraction machine like the Bissell Spot Clean, to help break down a lot of the dirt and grime for a more effective clean.

Many of the cars in the car park and the shed have become guinea pigs for our continued experimenting with this formula, which has been tested extensively to ensure that it works great and is safe on just about every type of trim out there.
